Following a challenge from an executive member for a business to gain a true understanding of project management positions, Andy devised and launched a comprehensive measurement strategy.

By identifying the five defining KPIs critical to a project's success and digitizing the process, he created a dashboard that provided a live, objective view of performance across the nation.

This innovative approach not only enhanced operational performance but also supported a robust supply chain strategy by offering real-time insights into every partner.

Once these live objective measures were implemented, they not only provided the opportunity to identify problems in real-time but also to address them effectively.

Andy and his team established a weekly escalation process, where critical issues were reviewed independently and then systematically escalated through the Senior Leadership Team to the Board within three days.

This approach ensuring that our senior leadership team were continuously aware of early indicators of risk and allowed action to be taken immediately.

A hand untangling colorful ropes from chaos to order.

Building on the success of the Measurement & Intervention strategies, the subsequent challenge for our team was to digitalise every KPI for both project management and the overall business.

This initiative aimed to provide a single objective data source that flows from Project to Board, including weekly performance tracking directly to our Supply Chain Partners.

This comprehensive work was completed within 9 months of conception.
